In the first season's flashback episode "Why Are We Here?", Ray and Debra want to move to a bigger house. Ray pulls out a map to plot where they want to go. He doesn't want to be too close to his parents, because they will be over every day. But he doesn't want to be too far, because his parents will become "overnight guests".
