Ted is one of the employees on the cruise ship Star Princess. He is assigned to Ray and Marie to make sure their trip is as pleasant as possible.
When he meets Ray and Marie, Ted mistakenly thinks Ray enjoys the company of elderly woman. Then when Ray explains that Marie is his mother, Ted thinks that's a cover story.
